Lauren Danner is a mother, wife, yoga teacher and artist who thrives on community and making authentic connections. She is passionate about creativity through art, words, and movement. She’s been known to be loyal, creative, and toting a cup of coffee in her hands most of the day.

Lauren has been practicing yoga since 2000. She began teaching 2007 in Portland, Oregon after leaving her cushy corporate HR job to teach yoga in the workplace in order to share the practice where it is needed most; everyday life. Her style creates a practice that is sustainable in the moment and long term so that students have something to commit to for a lifetime by moving energy with breath, postures, and intentions. Her yoga classes are challenging but playful enough to be possible for all physical levels.

Lauren’s personal intention is to be humbled by and grateful for all of life’s gifts. Diverse experience is something she has acquired that has led to her unique style and yoga philosophy. She has taught in attics, apartment communities, hotel rooms, parks, many conference rooms, yoga studios and was a yoga teacher at Nike World Headquarters. She finds spontaneous and approachable practices delightful and can roll with limitations and hesitations that may arise in her students.

As a lifetime student, she has had many teachers whom she’s learned from whether by challenge, inspiration, or example. A few notable teachers are Baron Baptiste, Rod Stryker, Sianna Sherman, and Sean Corne.
