Lisa Hase Jackson – Writer, Poet, Teacher

Lisa Hase Jackson is a passionate teacher who is dedicated to (and fascinated with) the writing process, she has been teaching and coaching writers since 2004. Her poems have been published in numerous literary journals and magazines.

Lisa teaches Poetry and Honors English at the College of Charleston and particularly enjoys spending time at the beach and at Caw Caw Interpretive Center. Lisa enjoys spending time assembling scrap quilts and doing simple knitting projects. You can read Lisa’s blogs at: ZingaraPoet.net

Kennae Miller is the founder of  transformation Yoga, LLC of Summerville, SC. She has embarked on her personal yoga journey for the last 13 years. With her passion for serving others and encouraging them to grow and heal, Kennae obtained her certification from Hawaii Yoga Institute.

It is her desire to live, encourage, and lead others to live their yoga lifestyle both on and off their mat and share their light with the world through the use of modern music, essential oils, and the sister science of Ayurveda.

Ciara Belly – Dance / Shimmydown Bellydance

Ciara has over 8 years experience as a belly dance student, performer, and instructor. Her interest sparked at the age of 12, while walking through a flea market. There Ciara saw a booth advertising a local class, and she was lured in by the beautiful colors and coins. She quickly fell in love with the rich culture of Raks Sharki.

Ciara uses belly dance to empower other women and maintain a healthy lifestyle, which she is passionate about sharing with each of her students along with the powerful history of belly dance.
