The Women Veterans Support Group is a place for United States military women veterans from all eras to find support, information, and inspiration. We are a fellowship of women veterans who come together to share our experience, strength, hope and to find support and understanding for our common issues. We believe our injury is also an injury to one’s spirit.
We are not a therapy group and we have but one purpose which is to help women veterans with this injury. We do this by practicing recovery, learning, and using coping skills and also by welcoming women veterans with our message and by giving those in our group wisdom, understanding and encouragement.
We do not question each others’ service or trauma. Our discussions and focus are only recovery or healing and well-being related or to assist women veterans with their issues. This is a space to help women veterans connect with those who understand what they are going through.
Our support group provides a space where you can connect with other women veterans who truly identify with what you are going through. Women veterans are often looking for support from those who “really understand because they’ve been there, too.” Our support group offers just that – a safe place for women veterans who need to meet and develop a mutual support system.
Our group is a safe space for women veterans.
